NOTE: Thanks to vincentarthur for the suggestion for this contest (as well as another individual whose name escapes me at the moment). Feel free to suggest any other contest ideas by PMing me or making a separate post for ideas.

Contest: Design YOURSELF as a Planeswalker.

Prizes:

Funniest Entry - 5 credits
Most Innovative (in terms of the abilities of the card) - 5 credits
Best Design (to win this prize, you must explain why the card is a good portrayal of you, and how it fits into the game) - 10 credits

Total Prize Payout: 20 credits

Rules: You may enter up to twice - once with a "serious" submission, and once with a funny submission (either or, you are not required to do both). No entry can win more than one prize. Note that a funny entry can win any of the 3 categories, but "serious" entries cannot win the funniest entry category (unless I suppose I happen to find it funny for some reason). Please enter your submissions by responding to this post; I will also post this thread on the MTGO Boards - A submission in either location will count (though posting in both locations would be very helpful!!). At the conclusion of submissions, I will copy/paste those submissions made on only one of these locations to the other so that everyone can view all submissions in one place (this will depend on the voting mechanism we end up using). Please submit only your original ideas, or with the permission of the person who created the card.

Voting: The process for voting will depend on the number of entries we get. If there are a lot of entries, I will do open voting to narrow down the entries, and then choose my favorites out of the remaining entries. I may also enlist the help of some other people (please let me know if you are interested). Full details on the voting process will be made available the day after submissions close - and of course any suggestions are appreciated.

Reason why this card represents me well is because I lost my right arm in a freak accident so it was replaced by a Prosthetic arm . ...
ok so i lied about the prosthetic arm but basically I love to play cards that restrict what my opponents can do(ability1). I also love to play play cards that people don't expect to see such as my deck with Colfenor's Plans and Phyrexian Tyranny(ability2?). And for the last ability... i suck the life out of the party? oh wait thats not right.. lets just say I like to win

Fantasy Card Contest IV: Design yourself as a planeswalker

Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest – there were a lot of great entries!!! Because there are so many – I need your help to narrow down the list. Everyone will be entitled to 3 votes: 1 for the funniest, 1 for the most innovative design, and 1 for best overall design. You may vote for your own cards, if you participated, and you may also vote for the same card under different categories (i.e., same card for funniest and best overall). -1: Randomly reselect the target of target spell or ability with a single target (The new target must be legal.)

-6: Change the text of target spell or permanent by replacing every instance of one permanent type word with another. (Permanent types are artifact, creature, enchantment, basic land, non-basic land, and plainswalker.)

-2: The chief export of Rob is pain. Deal 5 damage to target creature or player. If a player is dealt damage this way, punch him in the arm as hard as you can.

-8: There is no theory of evolution, just a list of animals Rob allows to live. Destroy whatever creatures on the board you feel like. Then search your opponents hand, library, removed from game pile, binder and backpack for any cards you like and take them. You win the game and every other game you ever play, Magic or not.
